The Sphere

Last week I went to Las Vegas for my company's annual customer conference. It had been a long time since I'd been to Vegas and I was kind of looking forward to it. But I was quickly reminded why I'm not really into Las Vegas. I don't enjoy gambling, I hate cigarette smoke, and my hard partying days are behind me. And it's unbelievably hot this time of year. In fairness, there are a lot of shows I'd love to see, but they're very expensive so I've only been to handful of them. In short, Vegas offers a lot, but not much that I'm into. The one thing the city does offer that I really like is the opportunity to do some night photography of the city. To paraphrase Joe Ely, Vegas is a jungle but Vegas gives a beautiful light.
