Fly Fishing in the Blue Ridge

I'm kind of amazed that this photo hadn't been published to my site before because I've always really liked it. This one was taken in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina in 2019 where we'd rented a cabin to do some fly fishing and general vacationing. It had been raining for several days previous and the water flow was really fast. I set up on a big rock in the river with the water rushing by. I used a Tokina 12-24mm lens with a 10-stop ND filter, f/8 and a 75 second shutter speed. Fun shot.
