T-Rex

From this weekend's visit to the Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land.  The boys loved it.  Probably the most engaged they've ever been at a museum that wasn't specifically geared to kids.  I'm patiently waiting for the time when they're really into museums and I can take them to the Smithsonian or the Field Museum in Chicago.

This one is a single photo HDR shot.  I didn't bring a tripod to the museum because I didn't know if they'd let me use it, so everything was handheld.  Still, I'm really pleased with the way this photo turned out.  On top of the HDR treatment, I did some noise reduction, a Gaussian blur on the background (because the background was still too noisy for my tastes), and a little trick I learned to put a twinkle in Rex's eye.
