We hit the Houston Museum of Natural Science this weekend. The boys were in full-on spaz mode. Photography sometimes captures people in a moment out of context and imbues the photo with a mood that was not there. I can assure you, my youngest one was not the pensive sweet boy you see in this photo.
The museum has a new paleontology hall that is awesome. It compares well to similar exhibits at any other museum I've been to and I've visited quite a few, including some of the biggies. The lighting is absolutely terrific. If you have a fast lens and a steady hand, it's embarrassingly easy to take nice photos. One of the highest keeper-to-crapper ratios I've had.
